Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 27, 2026
Visionify, Inc., a Delaware corporation with offices at 1499 W 120th Ave, Ste 110, Westminster, CO 80234, USA (“Visionify”, “we”), builds ErgoVision with privacy as a core design principle. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
For our master enterprise privacy commitments — including our Data Processing Addendum (DPA), Cookie Policy, and EU AI Act compliance statement — see visionify.ai/legal.
1. The Short Version
- Camera video stays on your phone. Pose detection runs entirely on-device. We never upload raw video frames.
- What we store: your account info, assessment scores and metadata, optional anonymized worker IDs, and (when you choose to save them) low-resolution thumbnail images of the highest-risk posture frames.
- We do not sell your data to advertisers or third parties.
- You can export or delete everything from your account settings.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
Email address, name, role, company, and site (address and optional coordinates) you provide during sign-up or in your profile.
Assessment Data
REBA and RULA scores, action levels, joint angles, timeline data, segment statistics, worst-offender summaries, and intervention text. These are derived from pose landmarks computed on your device.
Thumbnail Images
When you generate a PDF or save an assessment, we store low-resolution thumbnails of the highest-risk frames (with skeleton overlay) so they can be displayed in reports. You can delete any assessment, which also deletes its thumbnails.
Worker Identifiers
ErgoVision is designed to use anonymized worker codes (e.g., “Worker 0047”), not names or government IDs. You should not enter direct personal identifiers into the worker field.
Billing Information
Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Usage Logs
Standard server logs (IP address, browser, request times) used for security, debugging, and abuse prevention. Retained for up to 90 days.
3. Biometric Data Notice
Pose landmarks may be classified as biometric data under certain laws (for example, the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act). Because ErgoVision performs pose detection on-device and only the numeric scores and joint angles are transmitted to our servers, we do not retain raw biometric identifiers (such as facial geometry or full body scans).
You are responsible for obtaining any consents required by law from workers you assess, including in jurisdictions with biometric privacy statutes (Illinois, Texas, Washington, EU/EEA, etc.).
4. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the assessment, reporting, and sync features.
- To process subscriptions and send billing receipts.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To send service emails (account changes, important product updates) and, only with your opt-in, marketing emails.
- To improve the Service in aggregate — we do not use your identifiable data to train AI models.
5. Service Providers (Sub-processors)
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud— authentication, database (Firestore), file storage. Data is stored in Google’s data centers under their security standards (SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001).
- Stripe— payment processing.
- Google Generative AI (Gemini)— optional AI-generated assessment summaries. Only de-identified score data is sent; no images, names, or worker identifiers.
- Vercel— web app hosting.
6. Data Security
Visionify maintains a SOC 2 Type II attestation and operates under GDPR-compliant practices. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256, via Google Cloud). Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel via multi-factor authentication. We follow the principle of least privilege.
7. Data Retention
Assessment data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all assessment data, thumbnails, and personal information are permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records).
8. Your Rights
You may, at any time:
- Access or correct your account information.
- Export all your assessment data (CSV/JSON).
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Object to certain processing (contact us).
- File a complaint with your local data protection authority (for EU residents).
Use /settings/data for self-service export and deletion, or email support@visionify.ai.
9. International Transfers
Your data is stored in Google Cloud regions in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, you consent to your data being processed in the US.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
Material changes will be announced by email and in-app banner at least 14 days before taking effect.
